Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi, I m stayng in kolkata, 27yrs old...I was married in oct 2007....Till that date my wife goes to her mother in laws house every 2 months.... I stays in kolkata and my in laws stays in Rajasthan....Its quite impossible for me...as its too much expensive...if i requst her she uses abuse languages to me and my parents.... her father goes on threatng me and my parents for false cases and all....last she went there in novmbr 2009 in my sister marriage occation .her father took her the second day from my sister marriage...they said after 15days she will b back... she took each and every garments , jewellerys evn our jewelleys too...and later on said she said that she want to go abroad and if she settle there she won't come back again else she will be back....after 4months(end of march 2010) her father called us and said giving threats to us that to take her daughter back...i again went there and came back.she return back with me...she was really not well...her medical treatment is going on ..till date ....thn again in june 2010 she went away .. her father threat me and my parents... her father sent a ticket...while she was going we gave her money...as she was travelling alone...Now i can't stay with this girl anymore.... i m frustratd from my lfe...I did everythng for her which was possible for me....while going she said me that she is going abroad and she said that she need to say somethng to their relatives so she said that i beat him and all....these are totally false.....later on now she says that she want to return back....as her abroad programme was cancelled this time...she will go after 1 year again....Her father is going on threating us....even i have logged a complaint in local police station about this matter.... i need a help... i have said her that i m going to file a divrc case agnst her and i don't want to stay with her anymore now its just too much.......now she says her relative that i have an affair with other that is y i don't want to stay with her....these are all false ... the name she is giving is getnng married in jan2011 ...she is my offic colig....Her fathr is givng thret abt false cases and all.....Now her father called us and asking for a huge amt which is not possible for us to pay...So plz help me....

if they have not filed any case till now then send some love mails to your wife and try to get loving replies. you can use sms also. if they have filed some case then you should file cross case. you have the option of Dowry Prohibition Act, IPC etc.

She is still young and may be immature. You should try to settle the issue amicably without considering any legal recourse at this stage.
