Legal Question in Family Law in India

Magistrate gave order on Interim petition in DV on 12-Sep-2011. Husband is not happy with the order and wants to go for revision in sessions court. Husband has applied for certified copy but yet to receive. What is the timeframe to go for revision, is it 30 days? Is 30 days counted from the date magistrate gave order or from the date Husband receives certified copies ? Because unless certified copy is there, cannot go for revision.

Please clarify.
