Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am mahesh(30) married 2 years ago.
Me belongs to Hindu religion and my wife is a christian.
We have 1 year old kid.
Now my wife and their parents forcing me and my child to convert to christian. They are keeping my child to thier custody and not allowing me to see my child.
Also my wife and her parents threatening me that If I not converting to christian, they will file a dowri case against me like that and threatening me for divorce and claiming huge amount as a maintanance/settlement.
But I am not intrested to leave my wife and child.
I give respect to all religion equally.
But I am not intrested to convert to a christian.
Please briefly explain about this situation and possible way of handling this situation.
I am not intrested to go for court. But I need some ideas and suggestion to overcome this situation.

You do not have much choice. Without going to court you cannot solve this, you are at a juncture; where separation is the only way.
