Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am mahesh(30) married 2 years ago. I belongs to Hindu religion and my is a christian. We have 1 year old kid.

Now my wife and their family forcing me and my child to convert to christian.

I give respect to all religion equally. But i am not intrested to convert to a christian.

I had further analysis and realised that she belongs to Hindu as per her all educational certificate. But she claming she is christian from the birth.

Now forcing me and my child to convert christianity.

Also my wife's family threatening me that If I not converting to christian, they will file a dowri case against me like that. But we never engage with any dowri.

Just I like to make aware of this. Please briefly explain about this situation and possibkle way of handling this situation.

No one can force you to convert to any religion.
