maintainance of a daughter under the christian laws

whether an unmarried major daughter can file civil suit for maintainance against her father?

If she is dependant on her Father and is not working or capable of maintaining herself then yes

the question is not of 'married or umarried' but the issue would be : if she is 'dependent' upon her father, yes, she can seek maintenance from her father.
