Maintenace Clarification
After marriage within 2 months she(my wife) left the house we don't have childrens. Now she file a DVC case. Under this case she asking 20lacks for maintence+ monthly house rent. she was employeed and earning 6,000/- P.M but in my salary 50% i paying house loan and rest of 50% i need serve the my parents regarding health conditions. So for the above thing how should i pay maintenace amount because she already employeed & we don't have childerns that too now she was staying with her parents. Please let me know the maintenace rules and details.

if she is employed, she is not entitled to any maintenance; however, if she does not want to live with you, she is entitlted to return of her entire 'istridhan' - all they spent on marriage and also the gifts etc. given by you.
the litigation will be tiring and expensive; try to settle the matter at the earliest by way of a compromise.

maintenance depends upon various factors viz ur income, ur dependents, income of wife, ur expenses, her living standard and yours...there is no hard and fast formulae for determination of maintenance rather depends upon facts of the case.
