maintenance ?

hi..husband works, wife is a house wife. we have a daughter who is 1.5 yr old. husband is earning 3-4 LAKHS PER MONTH. i have a proof of this too. We are muslims. How much maintenance can me and my daughter get from him? and second, on an average how much time will it take for the order to come for starting of the relief. since its been almost 2 yrs and i have never been given a single paisa for us . Also girl child has a congenital heart problem and is undergoing treatment. husband has a mother , 2 sisters and 3 nephews (parents of nephews died) dependant on him.

Is interim relief is less than the actual percentage of maintenance granted in the final order?

You should be able to get approximately rupees ten thousand per month; the interim order should be available within two to three months; sometimes situations differ as per functioning of local courts and that of the lawyer. You need to be diligent and smart to pursue a litigation.
