Legal Question in Family Law in India
I want to make a general diary in police station for mental torture caused by my in-laws. This diary is just for future reference and no action is required to be taken. But instead of making the diary in my local police station, I want to make it in Lalbazar womens' grievance cell. Can I do it? Will it be as effective as if I would have been make it in my local police station?

If you don't want to take further action you may try to lodge it in Lal bazar women's cell mentioning that it is only for their records. You can also lodge a copy with local police station for their records.

you may file a complaint before the women cell but they, as per procedure, issue notice to your in laws.
