Legal Question in Family Law in India

Marraige registered in Australia

I married my partner in Australia at the registry of civil marraiges. The marraige was performed by a registered marraige celebrant. She is an australian permanent resident and i am an Australian citizen (dual passport holder - indian).

However due to family pressure now she has asked for a divorce.

Could you please advise if:

1) The marraige is valid and legal in India

2) Can she go ahead and marry someone else in India even before the divorce is finalised ?
