Marriage

I am a divorce and married to another man whose wife did not divorce him but accepted me as his second wife verbally in front of her and my hunband's family. Is my marriage legal and will i get all the rights of a legal wife

There is no way a second woman may become legal wife; but if the first wife has no objection, you may marry him as per Hindu rites and ceremonies; because ONLY she can file a complaint of bigamy and if her consent is there, then there will be no hassle; though the marriage may still be not legally valid; but you will get all the legal rights including maintenance, inheritance etc. and your children will be legal;

If you both are Muslim then yes your marriage is legal otherwise no.
