Marriage question
I am an hindu wishing to get married to a protestant, if i need to get married to her in a church do i need to convert my self, if no do i have to pledge to bring my kids in her faith.

You can marry under the Special Marriages Act, in which case, you neither have to convert nor pledge regarding your kids.
Hoqwever, if you have to marry in a church, then you may have to follow whatever the church dictates to you.

In practical terms you have three options; either you marry under the Special Marriage Act then no conversion is necessary, to marry under the Hindu law get your wife converted to Hinduism or to get married under Chrstian Law you convert to Chrstianity.

You would be governed by the Special Marriage Act, and as far as the later part of your question is concerned, you are free to bring up the kids, without any sort of restrictions.
