Legal Question in Family Law in India
I am married to a bad man and got two daughtes 6 and 3 years respectively. he owns a browsing center, works as a driver picks up and drops school children by his own car and also as a real estate agent. by all these he earns rs.30k per month living in the own house.
due to unbearable violence and torture for dowry for rs.10 lakhs, i have made a complaint under d.p. act with the jurisdictional police station.
ultimately by the pressure from my elders i agreed for a compromise and the f.i.r was made to stop from operation and requested the police to issue b report.
after issue of the b report, my husband has once again started his violence and cruel acts of beating me causing bodily injuries with indirect support behind the screen by his parents and sister etc. presently i am staying in my husbands house with my school going daughters. i want to continue to stay in the same house for the well being of my kids without being untouched by my husband. please enlighten me with a suitable reply as to what action to be taken to prevent his onslaught because i am a dependent house wife.

i agree with Mr. Grover. you need to file a complaint under Domestic Violenc Act and seek orders restraining your husband from repeating his cruel acts and the court would also grant you suitable maintenance and compensation for the the cruelty that you suffered so far. the protection officer would be responsible for your well being.
You can file for a protection order. Also you can again file a fresh complaint under DV.
Stay in touch with a local women's social organisation and contact them in the event of any violence by him. you may also contact the police in case of emergency.
