Legal Question in Family Law in India
I got married in 22/11/11 in my community in a traditional way.
Ibelong to jain. Therefore as per law I m hindu.
My in laws and husband are not ready to maintain me and torturing me and compelled me to leave my matrimonial home for denial by me to handover my stridhan and my earning.
They are demanding my earning if I want to continue the relationship. I m not willing to give the divorce but circumstances are such that I cant stay with them due to their torture and my safety point.
My husband is not willing to register the marriage from the starting and not ready to take my responsibilty in any of the ways. There is chances that he already got married to someone therefore he is not ready to register the marriage.
I need your help to find out whether demanding the wife's earning to continue the relationship is called dowry or extortion?? Can I file case against my inlaws under section 498A??? and non registration of marriage under the Hindu Marriage Act is an offense if my husband denied to register the marriage after my many requests??
What are the ways to deal with above situation??

U can file application under domestic violence and may move application to police and no one can demand ur salary and for more clarification u can call m
you have various remedies under the law but before resorting to them, try n settle the matter amicable to avoid wastage of precious years of life.
