Legal Question in Family Law in India
I was married in 2001 and had two daughters in 2002 and 2004. In 2005, my wife left me and started to stay with her parents saying that her office is too far from our residence. Thereafter she never returned back and in 2007 she got transferered on deputation to Viskhapatnam. Despite repeated requests she never returned to me. She is very much attached to her mother who is a dominating and possessive sadistic woman. We have been occassionally meeting each other as I don't want my children to feel my absence and has been sending money also for their maintenance. But my wife takes unilateral decisions without even consulting me. Now if I want to file a restitution of conjugal rights petition can I do it in a family court in Visakhapatnam?

you need to file the petition where the wife is staying.
Yes, you may; however, try to avoid litigation and make efforts for an amicable out of court settlement.
