The wife may file the case at any of the following places

a. Where she was residing at the time of marriage.

b. Where the marriage took place

c. Where she last resided with husband

d. Where she is currently residing

If she claims to be permanently residing with her parents and has gone to a particular place for her job, she could file any case relating her husband at the place where parents are residing. You cannot get the case transferred.

However, if you have to file and you file at the place where you had last resided, then, she can get the case transferred to the place of her current residence, by an order from Supreme Court
