Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am married to a girl and during the marriage a large number of jewelry was given to the girl. Now the girl does not want to live with me and she has gone to her parent's home. She filed a case in the family court asking for compensation which includes the jewelry used to decorate her during the ceremony. The jewelry belongs to my family and it is a family property. She also is asking for cash compensation.

If the jewellery was put on her as custom only in wedding and not gifted to her then she cannot claim the same but if it was gifted to her from her parent's or from husband's side then it becomes her stridhan and is can ask for it.
