I got married in late 2008. My wife stayed with me exactly for 75 days. These 75 days stay with me too is not regular, it is intermittent, she used to go back to parents place in between. We reside in different towns. The other thing is that our marriage was not consummated as she wanted to visit a religious place before anything.
During May 2009, she went back to her parents place citing health problems, which in her opinion only her father who is also a doctor can handle best. After which, she and her family started threatening us with dowry allegations and domestic violence. However, they did not formally register any case against us, may be due to our patient handling or whatever. She is still at her parents place right now and has not initiated any conversation with me or my family.
This year I have come to know that she has got a Passport made in her name where she cites me as her husband. I have the passport application form number and the passport number with me. However, she cites herself as Single on facebook.com. I have also come to know that she had around 2 abortions prior to marriage.
I want an amicable separation, what are my options?

It appears that unfortunately you have married with a girl not suitable to you.
Anyway, now the best option for you is to go for Divorce Mutual consent.
an amicable solution can be thought of if both the parties are ready and willing to go for it. in your situation, as the girl is of unstable mind and does not know what is right or wrong for her, and as you yourself are handling the matter in a patient manner, convince them for divorce by mutual consent, failing which, you may file a petition for divorce on fault grounds.
