Legal Question in Family Law in India
I have married life of 02 year. though my wife loves me very much, we can not live happily due to her parents interference in our life.
presently she tried to jumped from terrace and got fractured in right leg and hand. after initial treatment, she went to her father's home and stayed about two months.
now they want rs. 1.5 laksh for her further treatment as per their convenience in other city.
i am ready to bear the expenses of treatment carried out in my city, but her parents are not convinced. they are only interested in money.
what i should do?

if she can get good appropriate treatment in your city, where is the need to go to any other city. However if the complications are such that treatment can be done only in that city, you pay for the treatment and not cash.
you can reimbursed/pay for her treatment.
in case she has jumped off the roof, living with her may prove to be dangerous. you may either ask her to mend her ways or file for separation. for the time being, you may pay for her medical expenses.
Probably they have not been able to severe the relationship and are more 'possessive' about their daughter. You should try to give them space and follow their instructions as far as possible. If you can afford, you should give them the money they have asked for her treatment. Make your ego as your servant and not your master. Try to avoid legal recourse.
