Legal Question in Family Law in India

I got married some 10 month back, it was a arrange amarriage and kind of under pressure because of family and society, initially i tried to live up with this but day by day its getting difficult, and now ia m at a stage i cann't continue it any more, i am looking for the separation, don't know how to proced as she is reluctant and her family also making lot of pressure on me...before marriage i was involved with some one and still talks to her and meet her occationally...girls family already dared me about al this and said that i will see the implications if anything like this happen....i am in lot of stress. we dont have any emotional and physical relations any more...i know they even dont hesitate to file some fake cases againt me and my family...pls. help

You are in middle of a complex but a comman situation now a days. First if u anticipating that your in laws will file a fake cases against you and your family, my opinion i this to you that you first obtain anticipatory bail.

Now that you have married with this girl and have lawfully established a relation, in my personal opinion it would be advisable to adjust with your wife and let your friend understand it. In your question there is no complaint as such against your wife. If you succumbed to pressure, it is not fault of your wife. You must understand that. Now that you are married if you break the marriage for no fault of her just imagine what she would have to go through. You are also aware that she or her parents would not hesitate to go ahead with all kinds of cases. Why they won't? Please give a second thought. Speak to your friend. May be she would understand your position. If she agrees, you will also have no problem adjusting. time is a great healer.

Personally ill advise to continue with your marriage now. But if you dont want to continue you can go for a divorce in family court.
