Legal Question in Family Law in India

I got married 3 months back. I had a boyfriend during my college days, However that relationship was broken two years back because of his behaviour. Some months before my marriage he asked me to continue our relationship. I disagreed, I could not accept him anymore. Now since my marriage he is blackmailing me saying he has raised a case against me saying that I am already married to him.

Now he says that He wants to withdraw that case and live peacefully and for that he needs my signature. In my home , I did not get any notice regarding this. He says If i do not sign in that , notice will go to his home and his parents will come to know.

I feel he is trying to get my postal address or he is trying to meet me by doing this.

However I want to clear my doubts regarding this.

1) Is it possible to raise case like that with any fake evidence?

2) If yes, How will be the procedure?

3)If in case he wants to withdraw the case which he raised, does he require my sign?

The answers to your questions are here in below;-

1) NO

2) He is only blackmailing you. Speak to some one senior in your family ,i would ask you to speak with your husband and make a police complaint and get him arrested for his black mail.

3) No. Whatever he is doing is to get your attention and nothing else. Dont give in to his pressure.
