Legal Question in Family Law in India

i have got married 7 months back to a girl.ours was an arranged marriage. before marriage she used to have vomiting episodes and when enquired to her parents they told that she has problem of acidity. But after a couple of days of marriage she started vomiting. and after thorough physical examination a psychiatrist was referred who treated her for 6 months without success. when doctor suggested of hypnotherapy, my wife confessed to me that she had been taking psychiatric treatment before marriage for the same problem and this fact was hidden from my family and me. for past 7 months she has been a patient and has not been able to perform any duty of a wife.

after knowing this i am totally shatterd and am thinking on the line of annulement of marriage. kindly help and advice on the same.

this is no ground for filing annulment of marriage and your petition may be dismissed. better take care of your wife as it is not a disease that cannot be cured.

My friend Pshyschatric problem can not be a ground for divorce. Better you take care of your wife and get her treted. But yes it can be tackled and you can have a divorce if the disesase which can not be cured, for which you need to take proper assistance.
