Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

I got married in Nov 2009 and lived with my partner till April 2010 and then due to complications and because of his mother and fathers behavior and their influence on my partners behavior i could not tolerate it anymore and we used to have many disagreements on small issues and later he dropped me at my parents house saying he would come to take me after few days but he never returned and since April 2010 till date i have not seen him neither did he and i would now like to file for divorce as there are many things that have come out of this marriage and many hidden things that i got to know about him and considering all those things and after i took him for a medical test after marriage mine and his family got to know that he is impotent which they had hidden from us & i would never even want to be in a relationship with him again not just because of his impotency but because of his mother and father's behavior towards me and his extended family's behavior towards me.

I and my family have been trying to get his address so we could send him a legal notice as we stay in different cities and i would like to get divorce on mutual grounds without any problems and court matters but unfortunately the boys family is just not willing to sort things out mutually even when it is their fault because of which my marriage broke so we spoke to our lawyer and he has advised to try and get their address so we could send them a notice seeking for divorce but we have no relative supporting us in this and nobody is ready to talk to the boy's family to obtain the address except for one of my uncle who is the only person trying to help me and family out of this problem.

So please suggest what i should do in this case as i am sure if we talk to them directly the boy and his family would not give the address and they would get into an argument and fight over the phone which we want to avoid.

Is there any legal method to get this fixed in such a situation without prolonging the process of obtaining divorce from boy's side.

Please help me as i want to get married and get settled in life because my lawyer has advised me to get married if they are not cooperating and get settled and go to some other city or country if possible but i don't want to do that and want everything to be done legally so that tomorrow the boy's family does not take advantage of my situation and say i haven't taken divorce and still got married because the boys maternal uncles are all divorcees and five of his uncles are divorcees and they are very much experienced in such matters and are just waiting for us to do something wrong and take advantage of the situation.

So please help me and suggest what needs to be done.
