Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am married in Nov 09, and My Wife has filed a Divorce petition on grounds of cruelty and asked for maintenance for herself and for her stay around 75000 pm.The girl is MCOM ,working and earns around 10000 pm.My salary is 50000 pm.The girl has herself left my house in 3 months from marriage and stays with her mother & father,and now claims that we troubled her on cruelty grounds which is absolutely not true.I have old parents who are ailing and dependent on me.I am a middle class earning individual.
My questions :
1. Would I have to pay maintenance to the girl.
2. Since I am also not interested and have no feelings for such a hopeless girl what shld my stand in the counselling and court be.

1)you are required to pay maintenance but the amount demanded by her can be minimized.
