hi i married one year ago but from the last seven months i live separate from my husband. they torture me for dowry. i want to take some legal action what can i do?

in case they torture you for dowry, you have an option to file a complaint before the crime against women cell.

(a) You may file a complaint with the local police u/ss 406 and 498-A I.P.C.

(b) You may also file a complaint under D.V.A. seeking appropriate relief like protection, residence rights and damages.
