Legal Question in Family Law in India

I was married last year in India and our marriage already got in trouble after few days. Now it has become impossible for me to continue relationship with her but she says even if she goes around with some other men i cannot do anything because that's the Indian law and i have to bear her entire my life. Now if i apply for divorce she will definitely go against it and ask for alimony.

I work in London for last 3yrs and after tax i get Rs 1Lakh in hand and with rent and other expenses i am only left with Rs 30,000.I don't have any property in India, whatever i have its all in my parents name and this was already before my marriage. My wife is already earning Rs 25,000 in this case can she earn alimony from me.She is saying that her lawyer will make me pay half of my gross earning to her.Do i really need to pay any alimony to her only because she is a woman ?

To be very frank my friend no one can stop from filing other any kind of case. But as far the question of maintenance is there as you said she is earning Rs. 25,000.00 then in that case you will have to prove it that she is working and only then you can save your self.

You cannot anticipate what may happen in court. Let the situation come. You may better prepare your defence after you have in hands her petition.
