Under Hindu Marriage, divorce is a personal matter. While staying with your husband, you may file a petition for divorce on the grounds of cruelty on the basis of mental torture giving incidence of all such events which caused mental torture and thus cruelty upon you. The court will grant the divorce on your proving such mental torture in the court by oral evidence and support with documents if any.
