I am Married for last 8 years and have a 7 years old daughter. My wife belongs to delhi and i reside in ludhiana. Marraige was solemenised in ludhiana . she left home without telling me in october 2011.Before leaving she filed a false complaint in the local police station alongwith MLR which was after thorough investigation and inquiry filed as false , misleading and devoid of any truth.

Now she has file a similar complaint with Women cell Delhi against me and my mother and two married sisters.but before that I had filed a RCR case section 9 here in ludhiana.

If local police has filed the same complaint can Delhi police under pressure Register any Dowry/ Domestic violence case against me and my family Members.

Yes, depending upon allegations made by her in the complaint, Delhi police may register a case and start investigation.

For visitation rights, you may need to file a case demanding custody of the child.

the custody and visitation can only be filed at the place where the child is residing. you need to file the petition in Delhi within the jurisdiction of the court where the child is residing with her mother. you better not be afraid of dowry complaint and domestic violence as these cases can be handled effectively by hiring an aggressive lawyer.
