Legal Question in Family Law in India
I am married and have a 6yr old daughter.My married life is not at all good.We both are like stranger living in the same house. For the past two years I am in a relationship with a man who happens to be my cousin (both of our mothers are own sister). We love each other and want to marry. Even my daughter hates her father and loves this man. Is it possible for me to get a divorce and marry him?? Social marriage is not possible as our family will not permit it.

in case you are a hindu, then you cannot marry your first cousin and this marriage would be void in the eyes of law. it is permissible in muslims and other religions.
you can get a divorce by mutual consent or by contesting but the marriage may not be legal and valid if you are a Hindu.
As already advised, the proposed marriage will not be legal and valid.
