you can file a complaint under domestic violence act and elaborate the circumstances leading to the dispute between you and your husband. you may also annexe the details of stridhan and other items that you sought to recover apart from compensation and maintenance from your husband. you may approach the lawyer and brief him of the case.
You can file both civil and criminal case against your husband.
You make a written complaint to the local Police Station with a copy to the S.P. of the district spelling out all the allegations and also demanding back the entire ISTRIDHAN - all the gifts and money given to you in marriage by both the sides. You may write an e-mail for further guidance, if needed.
file case of DVA and 406 before police or private complaint and you will get everything.
