Legal Question in Family Law in India

can i marry my mother's sister's husband's brother's daughter. ( ie. our grand parents are not same but great grand parents are same from my mother side ).

pls advice.

And we are not joint family

it is within the prohibited degrees if you are a hindu.

Yes you can marry as do not fall under the prohibited degrees.

three degrees from the mother s side and four degrees from the father s side are considered prohibited. in your case, as great grand parents were the same, it is within prohibited degrees and the marriage would be considered null and void.
