Legal Question in Family Law in India

Members,

Husband filed a case Under Section 27 Special Marriage Act 1954 for divorce. Wife filed a misc case for Interim Alimony Under Section � 36 and Read with under Section � 38 of the Special Marriage Act. 1954. and Read With Under Section � 151 C.P.C.

Section 36 is for Alimony pendente lite and Section 38 is for Custody of children. But what is the Section 151 C.P.C.? How will this section help her to get better amount of Alimony? Is it realy related to alimony ormaintenance?

I am not getting the exact contents of this Section 151 C.P.C in internet. Please help me to understand this section.

section 151 CPC is regarding the inherent powers of the court. whenver an application is filed, as per convenience, section 151 is also mentioned so that the application is decided considering inherent powers also, of the court.

section 151 CPC speaks about the inherent powers of the court. It gives wide discretionary powers to the court and includes virtually anything which is not covered under the Code of Civil Procedure.
