minor female child custody (3 years)

Can I file for custody of my daughter directly in High court instead of the district court or Family court. This will enable me to save time on appeal. If allowed to directly file in high court than under what section should it be filed.

Assuming you are a Hindu and in India, the application has to be filed in the court of District judge.

No,you can't.You have to file custody case in District court only.
