Legal Question in Family Law in India
Mis use of IPC 398 (Dowry)
Dear Sir/Madam,
I had married on 27.03.07 and I have 1 son (4yr). My inlaws family members (specially my mother in law) highly interrupts in my personal life. My wife obeys her order and always goes to her home(Myaka at Lucknow-U.P.) without my permission and on discussion they say that IPC 398 will be imposed on you and your family. I am at delhi and doing job in a Pvt Co. and now she is living with her parents and my son's school has opened on 04.07.07 but she is not ready to come Delhi from Lucknow. That's why my son's education is going to be spoiled and no body is caring about that. I would like to request you please guide my how can I get divorce from my wife and what about my son. I have been tried all the efforts to give her better environment but she is not caring about that. I have been fully mentally disturbed due to her behaviour. Government has formed Commission for women. I would like to ask Govt, why Commission of men is not formed. Please advise me as per legal advise.
Regards,

Re: Mis use of IPC 398 (Dowry)
The National Commission for Women was constituted for protection of women because they are considered as "weaker" class in society. The women are sufferer in all the incidents of domestic violence world over. The men belong to the 'dominant' group in society.
Your facts are incomplete. You wrote that the marriage took on place in March 2007 and you have a 4 years old son? ??
Please clarify and write your full background for better advice.
