Legal Question in Family Law in India

My mother-in-law had taken loan from a private vendor and my wife had also signed before marriage and now the vendor is behind me for the loan repay. Will I be liable for the loan that my wife made before marriage? Will the loans not get elapsed automatically after marriage?

No. She may be liable to pay the loan with her mother.
