Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am a Muslim married to a Christian guy for the past 7 years. Finally after years of struggle, we have decided to go our ways by for divorce by mutual consent. I want to know if there are special laws for divorce by mutual consent in an interfaith marriage. Please help

you may file a divorce by mutual consent under special marriage act and the divorce would be granted after a year only....first motion needs to be filed now and second motion after a year.
