Legal Question in Family Law in India

My nephew's wife has complained under dowry act which is in the court now. In the meantime, she has sent a letter to my nephew's boss.

1.Whether she can write or do anything off the court when the legal proceeds are going on? She is also running around to get his passport impounded on the grounds that he may leave the country for good. He is a native of Bangalore from family root.

2.Whether such acts of complainant can be accepted by the court?

3.Can his passport is liable to be impounded in this dowry case which is totally and wealth motivated by the complainant?
