Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am an NRI and my wife asked me to sponsor her brother which i denied and now she threatened me with 498a and DV.
I don't have any property in India but i am having a house which is owned by my parents and i am only a nominee.Is this possible for my wife to claim rights on this property anyway ?

your wife cannot claim any ownership rights of the same but she can file a complaint under domestic violence act and seek residence rights in that property. but this is not an absolute right and your lawyer and refute her claims for residence on various grounds.
