Legal Question in Family Law in India
I have obtained null and void decree regarding my catholic church marriage in goa in the year 2005 and subsequently a null and void decree also from the high court of mumbai at goa who sent it to the registrar of goa to mention that the marriage is null and void in the marriage register now suddenlyin 2012 my ex-wife has made a claim on my properties and is trying to extort huge amounts of money from me by misleading the court saying that her marriage is not null and void or void ab initio but annulled. Can my ex-wife claim for a right over my properties and say that she is the half-sharer of my properties based upon the portugese law of communion of assets as applicable to the state of goa.Since my marriage is void ab initio she should not have any rights over my assets since my marriage was not valid right from the beginning.please advice me as regards to rights.

No she can't claim anything in your property because you have never married each other in eyes of law.
