Regarding ownership of property

we have a factory in industrial estate ldh. it is in my cousin

brother's name.how can it be tranferred in my or my father's name permanetly through a legal process in which

stamp duty is lowest

Hello.

Good Evening.

It can be transferred by a sale deed but in that case you have to pay stamp duty as levied by the State rules.

The other way is the Gift Deed.

You may consult a local lawyer alongwith all the details.

You may explore the possibility of a "family settlement" which may not even require any registration. No cost.

Even if registration is required, it may attract lowest duty.
