One is entitled to deal with his/her property as per his wishes. There is no ban on disposing of self acquired property.
Your father can legally debar you or anyone else from his inheritance.
Re: Parental property
Your father is holding his self acquired property so he may debar you and your wife and children from his all self acquired properties

Re: Parental property
YOur father has earned himself and he is entitled to do whatever he pleases, and you ar your wife or your children do not have any right in the property.
if your father dies without transferring or leaving a will then all of you will have equal share in the property. i.e. yourself, your brother and sister.
