Legal Question in Family Law in India

Photos - Follow up

This is a follow up from my earlier question. The current scenario is that i am married to my partner and the marraige was only known between our parents and a few friends and noone else. My partner now wants to seperate. She said she would claim and tell everyone including friends that she was never married to me. I am looking at uploading our wedding snaps online. She said that if i do she would file a case against me for defamation. Could you please advise if this is possible considering we are legally married and i have every right to upload the photographs?

You rights may be determined by court after your pleas are tested in the suit / complaint she may file. The result of a litigation cannot be predicted; At the same time, you may not stop a person from filing a case, if she may so desire.

You may better consider an amicable out of court settlement to avoid litigation.
