Surely u are entitled to get back your entire stridhan.Photographs are good peice of evidence if they are corrobrated by other indipendant statements.

In DVD's and pitures where u were shown wearing the jewellery obvisously it must be a group picture of ur relative or with friend. Get the evidence of those persons. More over take steps to establish in court that the jewellery which u were wearing was not a hired one but either purchased by you, or your parants, or relatives or friends.

Photograph will certainly help you to your claim,demand & oral testimoney and to counter the denial of your husband in this regard. Photo proof is valid

yes.you may file a suit for recovery of your jewellary and can also file a complaint u/s.406 IPC if your in laws,husband donot return your articles including your jewellary.consult a lawyer of your vicinity.

no doubt that the photograph will be the good proof of the jewellary belonging to you but how will it prove that it is with ur inlaws....... go me or not?

the good thing in ur favour is that it is presumed that the jewellary has not been returned if there is no proof of such return of the items to the girl.

the trends do change in all the legal points and these days generally bulk amount of money is demanded in place of all the items or for the items which are not returned.

yes, you can claim your entire stridhan; and you may also claim damages under the Domestic Violence Act 2005.

You can get 406 added to your complaint already filed u/s 498-A. The photos apart, your own affidavit coupled with statements of eye witnesses will be important evidence in your favour.
