Dear Sir,

I am a government employee. My job timings are from 7am -12 am. A

case is there in a lower court against me. The court timings are

10:00 am to 04:00 pm. I want to appear in court after 12:00 i mean

after completing my job. Now a days I am taking full day leave from

the job. Can I be present in the court after 12:00 and put the

signature in the court proceedings without taking leave from the

govt. job. Please also guide if there is any application that i

have to give to court for doing this.

Please help.

Yours sincerely

Raj

SIR

1) If the case is civil in Nature, then you may not need to be present in the court every time.

2) If your facing criminal trial, then on all dates you have to be personally present. However, In criminal trial you can always seek exemption from the court to remain personally present in the court. You can do so by making proper application in the court.
