Id proof

In case of no documentary evidence, (No birth certificate or other records/ registration in prior) for a major (above 18), on what basis can fresh documentary evidence as ID proof be obtained?

There are several ways to obtain IDs - one may have proof of residence, a driver's licence, a school/college certificate, your name in voter's list, ration card, bank account statement, etc. etc.

For proof of Birth you can even make Affidavit.
