property dispute

my father builds a building on ancestral land with his own income and by selling ancestal land. they takes all rent.some months back he gave a gift deed in favour of my step mother of 1/4 share of that property.we are four sisters.all married. can we ask for share in this property and what will be ours share in this property

The gift of ancestral property may not be valid; You may seek partition of the property and claim your share; depending upon the total number of Class I heirs, you will inherit equally with others.
