Legal Question in Family Law in India
property share- in muslims
hi. I have a daughter, we all are muslims and married by nikah. now we are seperated and litigation is going on DVA and 498A and sec 125 in court. My husband has a lot of property given by his 'dada' . My father in law has died, but mother in law is alive. now i want to know do my daughter have some share in his property or not? and if yes then how much? what percentage and when is the right time to claim it? my husband is the only son and has 4 sisters. he also takes care of 3 children of one of his deceased sister. can you explain the percentage of property everyone holds.
2. there is one property only on my husband's name which he bought with his own money. can i claim my daughter's right on tht property or my right? i did not contribute for buying that land. He has not paid any paisa since 3 years to both of us. please explain in detail. thanks a lot

Re: property share- in muslims
Your daughter may inherit property of her father. However, her share will depend upon the legal heirs surviving at the time of your husband's death.
