judicial separation means that the couple is separated as per judicial order/decree and both can stay separate from each other and cannot enforce their rights or duties upon each other. divorce as you know, is the end of relationship where the relation of wife and husband comes to an end. nowadays courts are functioning faster and a case doesnt take years as it used to be.
