Legal Question in Family Law in India

Q1-what precautions to be taken by the wife while signing the joint petition

for Quashing the FIR u/s 498a / 406 / 34?

Q2- Have heared that the Petitions filled at the HIGH Court have special format in which it has to be drafted i.e. it contains double space between every line?

Is this correct or there is any other format ?

1. I don't understand why the joint petition is needed to withdraw the case u/s 498A etc. An application by the wife that she wants to take the case back is sufficient.

2. There is not a specific way to leave space b/w the lines. Just the formalities are lenghty. For more you can contact me at 919555462995

1) you don't need to sign joint petition for quashing FIR. Application or withdrawl pursis by wife is sufficient.

2) You may hire a Advocate.

You r right, it is double space.

but better to hire an advocate of high court.

he has to prepare your complete case to quash the case.

First compromise deed then quashing and within 1 or two dates, your case will be quashed.

you may provide us your detail and may be we will help you.

your queries are technical and can be taken care by your lawyer. it is the duty of the lawyer to file a petition in the high court under proper format. regarding the precautions, you need to appear and state that you intend to quash the FIR due to compromise. it has to be done in accordance with the compromise deed.
