Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi, This query is related to my married sister.

She had got married in the year 2005, after one year of marrieage, husband started harrasing her and taking doubt on her character becuase she has forced to do the job by her in-laws...

Husband was not interested in she doing the job, but due to in-laws presssure,she is doing the job now, but husband had regularly use to tell her that i am getting calls, and i am searching the numbers etc to who she used to talk and had a affair. ....

Not sure really, what she should do..becuase of the mental harrasement, she had left her in-laws / husband house 4 month back and they have kept her 3 year old child at thier place.

Could you please advise what she shouuld do now in this case. Her main problem is confict in the husband wife relationship and also with in-laws and her child custody of her 3 years son.....

Please suggest.

she can file a petition for custody of the child with an application of grant of interim custody as the child is too young. in case the husband is of suspicious nature, he can be made to understand that this way he would not do any good for the child. a meeting of elders, i feel, is a must in this situation.

she has to file an application for custody of child along with interim custody in court having jurisdiction.

she may go to local court for pre-litigation mediation and seek the help of mediation centre
