my question is regarding the maintainence amout.have heard that wife is entitled for minimim 1/3rd of the salary of the husband.In which section of the law it has been mentioned.any website/section for it ?

it is not a set rule that the wife is entitled for 1/3 rd of the salary and the maintenance is decided as per the facts and circumstances of each case.

The normal rule is that wife is entitled to maintain herself with the same standard of living as was maintained by the husband at the time of separation.
